Ro-Flo sliding vane compressors are the world leader in handling heavy, dirty and corrosive gases. So robust and dependable that every one of the world’s 25 largest oil and gas companies have selected Ro-Flo compressors for their vapor recovery and associated gas applications. Since the 1930s, Ro-Flo compressors have been known for their reliability in compression applications. It’s normal for our compressors to last decades. We regularly receive requests for spare parts for units built 30 years ago.
Recognized for its ability to handle sour, acid and wet gas, the Ro-Flo product line is ideal when capital, operational and maintenance cost are important. Individual Ro-Flo compressors have served applications for as long as 50 years. Maintenance is a simple one-man job. A full rebuild can be completed in about a shift.
Ro-Flo’s low and high pressure models are flow-matched to enable two-stages of compression utilizing a single drive. The compressors are coupled together and then coupled to a drive, with both stages operating at the same speed. The added cost of 2 stage systems is justified when handling sour, acidic or heavy hydrocarbon gas streams that are known to cause cost and reliability problems with other compression technologies. Further, justification of cost in vacuum service is by virtue of the higher efficiency of the equipment.
