Bioreactor Plants/Pilot Containers

The biogas pilot container is a customized, transportable solution for biogas test plants on pilot scale. The pilot containers are individually engineered and equipped. Continuous and batch-based operation as well as wet/dry fermentation and heap leaching (garage fermentation) are possible. The technology is focused on customer requirements and implemented according to the customer’s specifications. Equipment components of the pilot container (measuring devices, control instruments, feed and discharge equipment) are realized according to customer requirements.

For these pilot systems, we offer comprehensive services, which include planning including optional HAZOP analysis (hazard and operability study), installation and delivery of a turnkey solution. To comply with health and safety regulations, the pilot plant can be equipped also with gas warning technology. Depending on the design, the pilot system can be offered in a sea container, with a valid CSC sticker if required, or as rack-based pilot system for installation in the customer’s technical centre.
