Symbiont Providing Program Management for Simultaneous Development of Six Digesters and RNG Facilities

By | 2022-05-25

Symbiont has contracted for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work on renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities for clients South Jersey Industries, Inc. (SJI) and its development partner REV LNG, LLC.

Symbiont is responsible for the program management to simultaneously execute six project sites, across three states (Michigan, New York, and Connecticut).

Symbiont is constructing anaerobic digesters and related RNG facilities at six dairy farms, including the installation of equipment that cleans the digester-produced biogas, transforming it into commercial-grade pipeline-quality RNG which will be trucked to a pipeline tap. To streamline these projects, equipment at the facilities will be containerized. Altogether, the sites will produce about 2,000 SCFM of gas.
