The Spanish Renewable Trade Fair Salón Del Gas Renovable Increases Its Exhibition Area by 40% Four Months Before Its Celebration

By | 2023-06-27

As the discount and stand contracting periods for the third edition of the renewable gas fair, to be held on October 3rd and 4th in Valladolid, are about to end, the event is expanding compared to last year and will feature over 150 exhibiting companies showcasing their latest technology and innovations for producing biogas, biomethane, and other renewable gases.

Due to the increased number of exhibitors for this edition, the organizers, the Spanish Biomass Association (AVEBIOM) and the Spanish Biogas Association (AEBIG), have decided to increase the available exhibition space by 40% to accommodate new exhibiting companies.

Professionals can now also register for free to visit the fair, gaining access to the latest technology, knowledge, and resources to successfully implement biogas, biomethane, and other renewable gas projects in Spain.

They can also register for the 16th International Bioenergy Congress, which takes place parallel to the fair and has become the main knowledge transfer meeting for the biogas and biomethane sector, realistically addressing all the necessary aspects for interested professionals from investment entities, engineering firms, waste management companies, consultancies, public administrations, etc., to approach their projects and responsibilities with greater confidence and information. With over 100 applications received, the organizers are currently planning the program, which will include technical conferences, roundtable discussions, thematic panels, and poster presentations, and will be made public in July.

The challenge for the organizers of the Salón del Gas Renovable is to promote the installation of hundreds of biomethane plants in Spain in the coming years, thus contributing to addressing climate change, reducing international dependence on natural gas, and achieving a fairer and more sustainable circular economy. In fact, they aim to continue stimulating sector activity in line with leading countries like France, which will be the guest country for this edition and where three biomethane plants are launched every week.
