Product Description

The Boerger Powerfeed – safety and reliability

The Powerfeed is used for feeding solids into biogas plants.

The Powerfeed technology is installed at an appropriate position in the pressure pipe system. The Börger dosing technology conveys the biomass into the flow pipeline in the fully enclosed system.

The Powerfeed is available in two sizes. The liquid feeding technology of the Powerfeed duo version is combined with a storage container. The biomass is fed at the side in the Powerfeed connect. The new Powerfeed twin with its two powerful augers has been developed for feeding of large quantities and widely varying biomass.

The optimum solution – Boerger Powerfeed

BÖERGER - Solid feed technology: Powerfeed

The Powerfeed renewable raw material feeding technology guarantees safe and reliable feeding of solids into enclosed, throughflow pipeline systems.

The Powerfeed is available in two sizes. The Powerfeed 300 handles volumes of around 4 – 5 t/h at very low speeds to minimize wear while the Powerfeed 400 can achieve up to 9 t/h. A higher feeding rate can be attained by increasing the speed.

Benefits

  • Closed system, no odors or gas leaks
  • Less entrapped air
  • Less agitating in the tank
  • Less power consumption
  • A metering system for tanks of any size or number
  • Very few moving parts, simple effective conveying unit

Powerfeed connect

The Powerfeed connect is connected to the side of to the discharge auger of a mixing dosing feeder or moving floor.  The enclosed system offers the highest degree of safety.

The Powerfeed connect is available in two sizes with flow rates of 4-5 t/h or 9 t/h.

Benefits

  • Connection to existing mixing dosing feeders
  • Highest level of safety
  • Enclosed system, so no odor emission or gas leakage
  • Less entrapped air
  • Less agitating required in the tank
  • Less power consumption
  • Dosing system for tanks of any number and of different heights
  • Few moving parts, clear, compact conveying unit
