Product Description

The BLUEline Rotary Lobe Pump: Reliable and wide variety

The solids-resistant BLUEline rotary lobe pump has been used successfully in different sectors for many years. The highest reliability and the long service life of the pump convince our customers.

Performance data: The perfect pump size for every single application

The BLUEline rotary lobe pump is available in 21 different sizes. With flow rates between 4.4 and 6,600 usgpm (1 and 1.500 m³/h), there is always a pump which is perfectly suited to every single application.

Rotor variety: Unique throughout the world: the wide variety of rotors

Börger has been building rotary lobe pumps for more than 20 years and offers you a range of 21 different pump sizes. Each pump size has up to 9 different rotor geometries available in various materials. The specially patented design ensures that the sturdy rotor core and the shaft remain untouched by the pump medium at all times. Due to the many different factors involved when selecting the right rotor, the special requirements of the customer are always taken into account.

And by the way: rotors available for all sizes can also be fitted into any rotary lobe pump previously supplied. That is regardless, whether it was bought 20 years ago or just last year.

Variocap as excess pressure protection

The variocap is a simple and effective way to install protection from excess pressure.

The force produced by the pumping pressure acts on the pump cover, which consists of an outer ring and an inner, spring-loaded plate. As long as the spring force is greater than the pressure, the plate stays in the sealed position flush to the pump chamber. If the pressure rises above the set spring force, the plate moves axially and allows the pumped medium to flow back from the pressure side to the suction side. When the pressure subsides, the gap then closes again.

The complete variocap is hermetically sealed by a built-in elastic seal diaphragm and the other moving parts are untouched by the medium.

Benefits of the variocap

  • Integrated pressure relief valve
  • Non-clogging (no bypass required)
  • Protects the pump and system from excess pressure and pressure surges
  • Available for all pump series, easy to retrofit
  • Made of steel or stainless steel

Performance curves: High flow rate even with increasing pressures

Pump performance curves provide information about the efficiency of a pump. The flow rates of Börger rotary lobe pumps remain virtually constant even in case of increasing pressures.
