Waste Management Europe Exhibition and Conference (WME) – Call for papers is now open

By | 2021-11-15

WME will take place in Bergamo, Italy, from 15 – 17 March 2022, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, buyers, regulators and governments to network, collaborate and debate how humanity can best manage its waste in the future. Waste management is an international issue and, while being held in Europe, the event will have a global reach, including innovation and best practice from around the world.

Day One of the event will see representatives from governments throughout the world discuss the waste management challenges they face and their strategies for meeting those challenges; Day Two will feature senior representatives from the waste management sector discussing the present and future of waste management, the obstacles faced and the new processes and technologies being developed; Day Three will be the opportunity for senior leaders from industry and commerce to give their perspective and discuss what their organizations are doing to meet the challenge of managing waste.

Alongside the strategic/policy sessions – sessions that will be filled by invitation only – the conference will also feature a series of technical sessions that will tackle issues within waste management in more granular detail. In order to ensure the best possible content, from those at the cutting edge of their field, I am delighted to announce that we are opening a call for papers.

Examples of topics on which we are interested in receiving proposals include:
