BiogasWorld launches RNG Forum, a major event to grow and empower the industry in Quebec and Canada!

BiogasWorld and its partners, the Government of Quebec, Énergir, and Fondaction, are proud to have officially launched, on November 26, the first edition of the RNG Forum that will take place in November 2020. The event was announced during a networking cocktail that gathered the representatives of the entire Quebec renewable natural gas industry in one place for the first time!

Indeed, more than 125 professionals of the RNG industry met this week, expressing their willingness to be involved in its growth. Representatives of organizations playing a key role in the industry also highlighted the full potential RNG offers to make Québec stand out at the global level and to fight against climate change.

Maxime Lemonde, CEO of BiogasWorld, stressed the importance for the industry to combine its strengths and expertise to ensure its development.  

Stéphanie Trudeau, Senior Vice President, Customers and Operations at Énergir, spoke about the critical role that renewable natural gas plays for Energir. The company also reaffirms its involvement in the development of RNG.

Dominique Chaussé, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, explained that Fondaction saw the growth of the RNG industry as a unique opportunity to innovate in the financial sector. They want to seize this chance to support new players in the energy transition and the fight against climate change.  

The industry stakeholders in Quebec enjoyed the evening full of discussions and exchange of ideas laying the foundation for a truly interesting RNG Forum!
