Simply using CNG and in the case of RNG, producing it, can provide Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission savings between 85-125%. Compared to other alternative fuel solutions, including electric, Natural gas solutions offer the lowest well-to-wheel or lifecycle impact available – improving air quality for communities throughout North America.

Recoverable natural gas is found beneath the earth’s surface, compressed to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure, forming the alternative fuel known as CNG. North America has an abundance of established natural gas supply and thanks to technological innovation, supply is continuously expanding.
RNG is the cleanest alternative fuel, even as compared to electric vehicle technology. Made by capturing, cleaning, and conditioning methane from landfills, agricultural facilities and wastewater treatment plants – RNG offers unbeatable emission qualities that can dramatically improve a fleet’s carbon footprint.
Natural gas offers the fastest path to reducing heavy-duty transportation-related emissions. Innovative engine technology runs significantly quieter than traditional diesel engines – improving nuisance noise for communities and wildlife. Using the abundant, domestic supply increases job creation and boosts local economies. Together – these benefits improve air conditions and overall quality of life – now and for years to come.
