As a result of ten years of development within the Air Liquide Group and Waga Energy, WAGABOX® is a breakthrough technology for landfill gas recovery. Combining membrane filtration and cryogenic distillation, it guarantees the production of high-quality biomethane (renewable natural gas) that can be injected directly into the natural gas distribution network, regardless of the oxygen and nitrogen concentration in the raw gas.
The WAGABOX® technology recovers up to 90% of the methane contained in the raw gas, guaranteeing an energy yield far superior to recovery solutions based on electricity production. Biomethane production is injected directly into the natural gas distribution network to supply homes and businesses.
Fully automated, the WAGABOX® units are operated by Waga Energy’s teams, using a remote control device. They operate 24/7 with an availability of 95%.
