The purpose of Expat-N process ?

More and more biogas plants are coming online  this come with a higher production of nitrogen rich effluent.

This effluent called digestate and is considered a potent liquid waste.

The Expat-N process reduces management cost by improving the quality of digestate and optimizing water treatment.

  • The ammoniacal nitrogen extraction is based on an air stripping batch process.
  • It eliminates the use of chemical by the optimisation of the temperature, treatment time and air flow.
