Job Description

Responsible for the achievement of targeted blower sales of approximately $1.5 million dollars (first 12 months) while achieving target margin goals and customer satisfaction within North America (USA and Canada). This role has great potential to expand into a sales leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Distributors, Service Centers and End Users type accounts within Central & Eastern Canada and Eastern USA.
  • Implement marketing and sales plans, consumer programs, training, and business development activities.
  • Proactively contact current and potential customers to increase parts/ service repair jobs and revenues.
  • Target inactive and competitive accounts for conversion.
  • Make extensive use of our CRM Salesforce.com , and ensure data accuracy
  • Establish, monitor and execute implementation plans for key objectives in collaboration with Sales Manager. Key objectives/metrics include: Bookings to Budget, Revenues to Budget, Margin to Budget, with a particular focus on Industrial markets such as power, mining, water treatment, oil & gas and energy. Goal setting, regular performance reviews, fast decision process are part of our entrepreneurial way of driving business results

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Technical sales), a Trade Diploma in Business, Marketing or a technic in Engineering combined with relevant experience is also suitable
  • 5 years of sales experience, with a proven record of exceeding quotas
  • Overall knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers) or other related heavy industrial equipment is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (when travel restrictions are lifted) , several days at a time within Canada and the USA
