The U.S. EPA Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) is pleased to inform its Partners and other interested stakeholders about an upcoming webinar: Bioenergy + Combined Heat & Power (CHP) Benefits for Municipalities, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Southeast CHP Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP).
LMOP is sending this announcement as a courtesy.
Renewable biogas from landfills or anaerobic digestion at wastewater facilities provides cities and counties with electricity and thermal energy, while also reducing emissions. Other benefits of CHP projects include cost savings and increased energy resilience.
Two bioenergy CHP end users in the Southeast will present during this webinar.
Isaac Panzarella, Director, DOE Southeast CHP TAP
Jon McDonald, Three Rivers Planning & Development District, MS
Will Rice, McAlpine Wastewater Management Facility, Pineville, NC
Sarah Hazel, Office of Sustainability, Charlotte, NC
