Venez à Québec!
The world is facing numerous challenges with regard to the environment, energy and health. More specifically climate change is considered by many as “the global threat of our time”. For the first time since its inception in 1907, the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will meet in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, for the 112th Annual Conference & Exhibition (ACE).
With the theme “Winds of Change – Vents de changement”, ACE 2019 will be an exceptional opportunity for all experts, researchers, young professionals, students, industry leaders, and stakeholders to exchange ideas and propose new ways to deal with environmental, energy and health issues. As a complement to the technical program for ACE 2019, Oil Sands in Canada will be the topic of the Critical Review and a specific track of the conference will be dedicated to alternative energies, including the growth of electric vehicles.
So close, so Europe, Quebec City is the only walled city in North America. The acknowledged charm and distinctiveness of Quebec City, l’accent d’Amérique, offers a blend of modern buildings with many historical characteristics like fortifications, Château Frontenac, Parliament Buildings, St-Lawrence River, the Port, etc. Surrounded by nature’s majestic beauty, the city provides the benefits of a modern urban living in a safe, peaceful and pleasant environment. Moreover, ACE 2019 will take place during one of the best weeks to visit, with June 24 being the National Holiday in Quebec.
Be a \"change-maker\" and join us for an exciting international gathering of great minds working together to develop environmental solutions for the future.
